Donor Disclosure & Disclaimer

Effective June 25, 2026 · Last updated June 25, 2026

Prototype notice. This is a demonstration. No donation is collected, no card is charged, and no prize is awarded through this demo. The “signature” is simulated and is not a legally binding electronic signature. The disclosures below describe how the production charity program is intended to operate.

Washington State charitable solicitation disclosure

Communities of Belonging is a charitable organization that intends to register with the Washington Secretary of State under the Charitable Solicitations Act (RCW 19.09). As required by Washington law:

“Communities of Belonging is registered with the Washington Secretary of State. Additional financial disclosure information is available from the Secretary of State’s Charities Program toll-free at 1-800-332-4483 or at www.sos.wa.gov/charities. Registration does not imply endorsement.”

Tax-deductibility & quid-pro-quo gifts

  • Communities of Belonging is a Section 501(c)(3) organization; EIN available on request. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were provided in exchange for purely charitable gifts.
  • Certain tiers include a token benefit (for example, a cosmetic “Rainbow Power Ball,” a highlighted frame, or sponsor recognition). Under IRS quid-pro-quo rules, the deductible portion of such a gift is the amount contributed that exceeds the fair-market value of any benefit received. Because the in-game benefits are of insubstantial / nominal value, the Organization intends to treat them as low-cost items so that the full gift is generally deductible; your receipt will state the deductible amount.
  • This is not tax advice. Please consult your tax advisor regarding your specific situation.

Sponsorship & naming

Alley sponsorship (daily) and alley naming benefits provide public recognition and are subject to the Organization’s approval, content standards, and the values of belonging and non-violence. The Organization may decline, modify, or revoke recognition for content that is unlawful, hateful, or inconsistent with its mission. Naming benefits, durations, and any renewal terms will be set out in a separate sponsorship agreement.

Refunds

Charitable donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a (production) gift was made in error or an unauthorized charge occurred, contact [email protected] within 15 days and we will work with you in good faith.

Prizes

No donation or purchase is necessary to play or to win a leaderboard prize, and giving does not affect your score or odds. Production prize promotions will publish official rules consistent with Washington and federal law.

General disclaimer

The Game is provided for entertainment and fundraising. It is offered “as is” without warranties. Nothing here is legal, tax, or financial advice.
